The sun has come

and departed us,

winds of change

batter us,

Along our way

eternal strain,

the pain is gone

yet thoughts remain

-

The darkness has come on,

bid fond farewell,

to the creatures of night,

and mortal Hell

-

We live on,
We give on,
but it's not enough
Banners we stand,
Ashes to dust

-

Voices willl call you,

ignore what you hear,

find shelter in romance,

blanket the ear

-

We're not so young, that we don't understand,

who you are,

and what you command

-

The ministers calling,

no time to pretend,

that fate is not given,

and death is the end

-
